The ultimate goal of the courses is to help you achieve hygienic environment in the kitchen to minimise the risk of food related illnesses as well ensure healthy cooking methods and meal plans for your family . The courses have been designed for (but are not limited to) domestic helpers/nannies whose responsibilities include food shopping, meal planning, preparation and cooking for your family. It aims to provide participants with the knowledge and expertise to run a safe and healthy kitchen, increase nutritional value of family meals, reduce the risk of food poisoning and minimise food wastage.
An in person three hours training course covering topics such as high risk foods (raw meat, fish, eggs), cross contamination, cleanliness and safe cooking and chilling temperatures. The training combines presentations, hands on demonstrations in the kitchen as well as discussion.
