Our gut microbiome impacts our health and well being much more than what is currently appreciated.
Over the last few decades the food scene and our lifestyle have evolved in a way that changed our microbiota composition where it does not protect us like it supposed to.
Allergies, intolerances, immunity, IBS, obesity, depression and many other conditions - are all linked to gut dysbiosis proving the strong link between health and nutrition.
While scientists are hard at work trying to figure out the secrets of gut health, there is already enough evidence linking many foods with better health outcomes.
The environment that the microbes create inside our digestive tract impacts not only our body weight but also our immunity, energy levels, mood and hormonal balance.
It goes without saying that eating the right foods has never been more important! And I am your gut nutritionist to help you get it right!
In small, easy and realistic steps I can guide you through simple dietary habits to help you achieve healthier gut and healthier you.
Contrary to common beliefs it is not always what we eat but what we DON’T eat that makes our diet ‘unhealthy’. Our gut health depends on the right foods.
While our dietary patterns are shaped by culture, time, skills, budget, and many other factors, the links between health and nutrition are clear.
The good news is that embarking on a sustainable healthy lifestyle does not require drastic changes but small consistent steps and crucially a better understanding of what we should be eating.
Over a relatively short period of time this approach can lead to outstanding results for both body and mind.
My goal as a gut nutritionist is to help you make food choices that will reshape your microbiome so it can continue to offer you protection against allergies, obesity, pathogens, depression and many other conditions, like it's supposed to!

I have studied and researched human nutrition and food science for nearly 10 years. I have 10 years experience in the food industry with wide ranging roles in food production, quality control and catering. I have also held scientific and regulatory positions.
For the last few years while bringing up two energetic little boys I have helped many families improve their diets and make them nutritionally balanced, while focusing on improving their gut health.
Antibiotics, highly processed foods, refined sugar, stress and many other lifestyle factors have reshaped our gut environment to the point it is making us feel and look not so great. Here is where I can help - closing the gap between health and nutrition!
As a gut nutritionist I use research backed dietary strategies to help you understand and implement eating habits that will work for your gut and for your overall health. Instead of focusing on elimination of food items I advocate inclusion of those that impact our gut ecosystem. Start your healthy gut journey with me!
I offer a comprehensive course designed with domestic helpers in mind but open to whoever thinks they will benefit. The course is conducted in person, in small groups and includes hands on participation in the kitchen. The topics covered include:
