Zuzanna Kundi PhD
GUT HEALTH AND MICROBIOME NUTRITIONIST
I am Dr Zuzanna Kundi, a nutritionist (SNDA, PTD) specializing in gut health and the gut microbiome. For over 20 years, I have been living, studying, and working in many countries. I spent half of this time learning and researching in the field of human nutrition, while the other half has been devoted to working in the nutrition industry, where I held roles in food production, quality control, formulation, and regulatory affairs.
I hold the following degrees:
Thanks to my extensive travels and the having lived n the UK, Hong Kong, India, and now in Singapore, I have enriched my scientific knowledge with nutritional discoveries from many parts of the world. I have explored new foods, dishes, recipes, and dietary habits, as well as how they have evolved over the years and decades.
If you think this approach to healthy eating is right for you, take a look at my offer and get in touch with me!
Diet and gut bacteria are crucial for normal energy metabolism. Make food choices for gut nutrition that will reshape your microbiome to make you feel energised.
Our microbiome is involved in shaping our immunity starting from birth! Having solid gut flora means stronger immune protection against bacteria, viruses as well as allergies and intolerances
The activity of our gut flora results in the production of compound that affect our brain. Choosing the right foods can help protect against depression and make you feel happy and positive.
Hormones and gut microbiota influence each other. Understanding these interactions can help you support your hormonal activity with the right diet.
Gut flora influences our appetite, energy metabolism, glucose spikes, and fat storage. By eating the right foods you can shape your microbiome to work in your favour and keep your body weight in check.
Healthy eating is for life. By recognising microbes enriching foods you can change you eating habits and free yourself from calorie counting and fad diets. Learning about the ways we make food choices will empower you to make life long health conscious decisions.
Our gut microbiome impacts our health and well being much more than what is currently appreciated.
Over the last few decades the food scene and our lifestyle have evolved in a way that changed our microbiota composition where it does not protect us like it supposed to.
Allergies, intolerances, immunity, IBS, obesity, depression and many other conditions - are all linked to gut dysbiosis proving the strong link between health and nutrition.
While scientists are hard at work trying to figure out the secrets of gut health, there is already enough evidence linking many foods with better health outcomes.
The environment that the microbes create inside our digestive tract impacts not only our body weight but also our immunity, energy levels, mood and hormonal balance.
In small, easy and realistic steps I can guide you through simple dietary habits to help you achieve healthier gut and healthier you.
Contrary to common beliefs it is not always what we eat but what we DON’T eat that makes our diet ‘unhealthy’. Our gut health depends on the right foods.
While our dietary patterns are shaped by culture, time, skills, budget, and many other factors, the links between health and nutrition are clear.
The good news is that embarking on a sustainable healthy lifestyle does not require drastic changes but small consistent steps and crucially a better understanding of what we should be eating.
Over a relatively short period of time this approach can lead to outstanding results for both body and mind.
My goal as a gut nutritionist is to help you make food choices that will reshape your microbiome so it can continue to offer you protection against allergies, obesity, pathogens, depression and many other conditions, like it's supposed to!
